Discover the world of Powertex with Lynne Forsythe, a Certified Powertex Instructor! But what exactly is Powertex? It’s a versatile Universal Medium designed to strengthen natural textiles and other materials (excluding plastics).

In this two-part introductory class, you’ll learn how to transform simple t-shirt fabric into stunning, lifelike leaves. In Part 1, you'll cut and dip the fabric leaves into Powertex Universal Medium, allowing you to mold and shape them before letting them dry. In Part 2, we’ll bring your creations to life by painting them to resemble the vibrant, beautiful fall leaves we all adore.

Lynne's artistic arsenal is enriched with a medley of favorite materials, including vintage linens and laces, wire mesh, vintage papers, and an abundance of vibrant colors. Her passion for the craft has not gone unnoticed, as she has graced the pages of numerous magazines and served as a distinguished Brand Ambassador for Gel Press. In this role, she crafted compelling YouTube videos, made appearances at diverse trade shows, and skillfully demonstrated the versatile applications of Gel Press with both paper and fabric.

Lynne's artistic footprint extends to collaborations with renowned companies such as Petaloo, Canvas Corp, 7Gypsies, UmWowStudio, and Die~Namites Dies, where her imaginative designs have brought life to several captivating die cuts. Beyond her contributions to the artistic landscape, Lynne has traversed the United States, imparting her knowledge and passion through extensive teaching engagements.
