One Day Workshop - Grades 9th-12th

Unleash your creativity and explore the colorful world of enameling in this fun and hands-on workshop designed for teens and high school students. In this introductory class, you'll learn the basics of enameling, a technique that involves fusing glass powders to metal to create vibrant, durable designs.

Throughout the class, you’ll get step-by-step guidance on how to prepare copper, apply enamel, and fire your pieces to achieve stunning results. I’ll help you create your own unique designs, whether you're looking to make earrings, pendants, or other small jewelry pieces. This session focuses on kiln firing but there are other techniques to explore as well in other sessions. 

This class is perfect for beginners who are excited to try their hand at a new medium. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of the enameling process, plus your very own custom-made enamel jewelry to wear or share with friends. Please bring a KN95 mask which will be necessary when sifting to avoid inhalation of enamel.
