Handmade felt is the oldest non-woven textile known to (wo)man. Nuno felting is a relatively modern felting technique that meshes wool fibers with sheer fabric to create a lightweight, textured textile.

In this 4-hour workshop you will learn the basics of wet felting and blending soft merino wool with margilan silk. Beth will take you step by step through the process from laying, embellishing, hand rolling and fulling, resulting in a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, wearable to be treasured through the years.

Participants should plan to bring several old towels, a small bucket to hold water and a clean, empty @ 20 oz spray bottle.
